ACL-7120
Description ACL-7120 is a digital I/O and counter card for IBM PC/AT and compatibles. It has a little bit of everything on-board: 32 Digital Inputs, 32 Digital Outputs, three or six 16-Bit Counter/Timer Channels, and a Breadboard Area for Circuit Design All these features make the ACL-7120 a powerful "Swiss Army Knife", of Digital I/O Cards. Its digital inputs and outputs are TTL-compatible and use 74LS244 driver/buffer chips to provide high output drive. The circuits also demand less current than regular TTL circuits. It is very suitable for most industrial applications. Dual on-board programmable counter/timer provides 3 or 6 channels for fre-quency measurement, event counting and pulse generation. The clock frequency is jumper selectable for 2MHz, 1MHz, 500KHz and 250KHz. The maximum data throughput can be up to 500K bps. A breadboard area (651 plated-through-holes) facilitates the construction of customized circuits such as filter, attenuators, etc. Software Two software development kits are supported for the ACL-7120. The ACLS-DLL1 is a high performance Windows driver for Digital I/O functions. It supplies a DLL that can be accessed from C, C++ and Visual Basic under Windows 3.x environment. An extensive library of functions are available that support Microsoft C and Borland C/C++. Example programs are included to demonstrate how to write C programs for the ACL-7120. Features
