Description

The IEC-820 is a rugged 19" rackmount  chassis designed for use in harsh environments. The chassis offers place to a 14-slot ISA, or  CI/ISA,compatible passive backplane, a high-efficiency switching power supply and a cooling fan. A removable disk drive bay can mount up to two 5¼ " drives and two  3½ " drives.


The IEC-820 easily withstands shock, vibration, dust and extreme operating temperatures found in harsh industrial environments. Filtered push-pull cooling fans pressurize the case to exclude dust and dirt.

An optional Temperature Control Unit can adjust the temperature inside the chassis when the environment temperature gets either too high or too low for safe operation.
